Angled safety armrests for maximum safety!

Sonilift stairlifts feature a high level of safety precautions to make them easier for you to use and provide you with the safest possible travel experience. Your safety is Sonilift's top priority!

Every stairlift that is installed in Germany has armrests. In most cases, straight armrests are fitted.

However, please note: there are many situations in which straight armrests either pose an increased risk or make both you as the user and your relatives feel uncomfortable.

For this reason, Sonilift relies on angled safety armrests for your maximum safety.

Imagine the following scenario:

You are supposed to ride a rollercoaster, but without the safety bars. A very strange feeling, isn't it?

The sloping armrests surround you during the journey and serve as fall protection. The subjective feeling of safety is at least as important. As the user, you have something in front of you. Something you can touch and grasp.

Because a stairlift does not whizz through your stairwell at breakneck speed like a rollercoaster ride, but rather travels at a leisurely pace to the next floor, most people unfortunately do not use it - the integrated safety belt!

All stairlifts have a safety belt!

This should be put on before the journey and only taken off when you want to leave the stairlift again. The safety belt supports your upper body during the entire journey and ensures a secure hold.

Use the option of sloping armrests and your safety belt and benefit from maximum safety. Take a look at a sample chair in our showroom and find out more about the safety functions.

Please ask yourself this important question before purchasing your stairlift:

Does my future stairlift have sloping safety armrests?
